Two piece signboard. Each sign is approximately 6 1/4 wide and 14 1/2 inches tall Solid Birch construction with Rosewood stained Men and Women Figures. Sealed with coat of semi-gloss lacquer to protect the finish.

Two piece signboard. This set uses letters instead of the cut out figures above. While the most standard is "Men and Women", I can put "Gents and Ladies" on the signs if you wish. Just indicate on your order in the NOTES SECTION during checkout. Signs shipped "Men and Women" unless otherwise indicated. Signs are 14 1/2 inches long, and 6 1/4 inches high. Constructed from a five ply solid birch stock with Rosewood stained Birch lettering to contrast. Sealed with a semi-gloss lacquer to protect the finish.
Also can be ordered unfinished for your custom staining or painting.

DIMENSIONS: Each plaque measures approximately 9 inches tall by 5 inches wide. Men and Women Figures are approximately 6 1/2 inches tall.

-SIGN INSTALLATION TIPS -

DO NOT TAKE AN ELECTRIC DRILL AND START PUTTING IN SCREWS. If you want to use screws or nails to mount your sign you first have to drill pilot holes slightly larger than the nail or screw you wish to use. This way the wood will not split and will expand and contract with your weather conditions over the years. Most often the types of signs listed on this page are simple glued onto or above a door.

UNFINISHED ORDERS: If you are ordering any of the signs on this page unfinished and unassembled, they will come sanded and ready to paint or stain. Simply paint the sections in your various colors and glue the letters / figures onto the back boards. If you are using external house paint, no sealer is required. If you are staining or using interior paint, I suggest a coat of external polyurethane, available at any hardware store.
